We ended up finding a great deal on a pool at the beginning of the summer. We filled it up and the girls have had a blast. I have been enjoying just hanging out and trying to stay cool in our hot temperatures.
It took awhile to fill up. About 3 days of one hose during daytime and it was finally filled.
The girls had to play in it whenever they could.
And finally it was full!
It was wonderful over the 4th of July as all the cousins had fun and kept cool.
However, all good things must come to an end. We were the victims of some vandalism. One morning I woke up and looked at the pool and ran out to figure out why it was missing half the the water. And discovered that someone had taken a knife to our pool and ran about a 15 foot slit in the middle of it. Thus ending our wonderful pool.
We did let the girls enjoy one last time in it as it was emptying out.
