This summer T decided he wanted the girls to experience overnight backpacking trips. He decided he would do one girl at a time and take each one on their own adventure. D was first!
Backpacks were loaded and the two were off.
They decided they were going to do a hike outside of Cooke City, however once they got to the hike they were covered in mosquitos. Despite all the protection, they decided that it would not be worth it. So after a little hike they headed back to Red Lodge area and found a camping spot.
D had fun helping with cooking dinner and fishing at the lake.

D was very proud to make breakfast in the morning.
After breakfast they went for another hike, without the mosquitos!
They had a great time and D did an excellent job hiking with no complaining and had fun!
D had to touch the water anytime she went by some.
And the after hiking treat. D also earned a t-shirt for all of her hard work.
